Maintenance Technician

Maintain and repair physical plant (indoor and outdoor to include buildings, vehicles and grounds) under the direction of Facilities Manager

  • Establish and maintain communication between Administration and Program Staff
  • Submit accurate open and closed maintenance requests promptly
  • Conduct weekly inspections of organization’s buildings, grounds and vehicles
  • Report any work hazards
  • Develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with State/City/County authorities to ensure organization’s buildings, vehicles and grounds meet code regulations
  • Prioritize and monitor maintenance requests daily
  • Install/repair mechanical, motor, lighting, plumbing, electrical fixtures and appliances
  • Maintain swimming pool water and chemical levels
  • Maintain and ensure organization’s vehicles meet maintenance and safety standards
  • Maintain master key set and control for organization’s buildings and vehicles
  • Responsible for trash and grounds upkeep
  • Operate machinery as required
  • Assist with delivery and moving of furniture
  • Assist with unloading and storing of supplies
  • Other related duties as assigned
