As Chief Prevention Officer, Jaci oversees the Parents as Teachers (PAT) Program and provides Parenting Education and Prevention Services to families throughout Comal County. The evidence-based PAT Program focuses on promoting positive parent-child interaction and ensuring family well-being. The program also educates caregivers on appropriate child developmental milestones and behaviors in an effort to prevent abuse and neglect.
Jaci has been in the field of Parenting Education for over 11 years. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, both from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Upon completion of graduate school, Jaci also obtained her LMSW. Jaci currently serves as a NBISD Ambassador and is also a certified Infant Massage Instructor.
Jaci is committed to helping build thriving families in the community she calls home. Jaci’s passion lies in raising children that are healthy, safe and ready to learn. Jaci and her husband Joel reside in New Braunfels with their two children Max and Madeline.
